The CGC Colloquium takes place right at the end of CCCC (Portland), in the middle of AAAL (also Portland), and just before TESOL (up the coast in Seattle). Add us to your travel plans, and join CGC to share ideas, resources, teaching techniques, and research for developing graduate students’ communication skills. Portland State University is conveniently located in downtown Portland, with easy access to other conference sites, hotels, and restaurants. At the CGC Colloquium, you will hear from experts in the field and discuss your questions about program design, curricula, and research with colleagues working in the field of graduate communication.
Saturday evening, March 18: Happy hour (location TBA; cash bar)
Sunday March 19:
8:30-9am: Registration and breakfast
9-10am: Panel discussion, “Intersections of Writing Studies, TESOL, and Applied Linguistics in Graduate Communication Support”
10am: Coffee break
10:30-12:00: Roundtable discussions on topics in graduate communication support
